so , should you take the bag off before removing the seat , to avoid crushing the semi hard lid , and creasing the sides ?No, you don't need to take it off.
Would you expect the dealer to remove it first when servicing the battery ?

No, I never do. Just push down the front edge of the bag so that you can get at the screw/knob at the rear of the seat. Remove that screw/knob and then lift off your seat.so , should you take the bag off before removing the seat , to avoid crushing the semi hard lid , and creasing the sides ?
