Yamaha option for Crosstour windshield with Mirrors?

Switch, I see you posted the part # for the windshield with the pre-drilled holes but could you or someone else give a part #for the mirror kit. I think it looks really nice and thanks for posting.

6639-630 is the arctic cat number for the mirrors. I believe they are made by Kimpex so you may get the same thing from them cheaper.

It appears YAMAHA has come out with there own mid-height windshields with a mirror kit. There is one at 10 inches and one at 12.5 inches in height. The mirror kit is about the same price as the AC units but the windshield is significantly cheaper at CDN $139/$149 vs AC at over $230.

Part numbers are from the Yamaha Canada accessories website www.yamaha-motor.ca

Medium Sport Windshield- SMA-8LR96-21-SM (this listed as 10 inches above console).
Medium Windshield- SMA-ILR96-30-SM (listed as 12 inches over console)
Mirror kit- SMA-8LJ26-00-00

The description for the mirror kit says it is compatible with the medium sport and medium windshields.

I have seen the Yamaha medium sport windshield with the mirror kit on a 18 Viper RTX. It did not have the 2 mounting holes on the rear flares of the windshield. It is a direct replacement with no holes to be drilled.

I had the Cross Tour 6606-722 on my sled. unfortunately the wife rolled it. I ordered new one but it has a superceeded part number. The new shield does not have the tabs and exstensions that come forward and line up with the holes on the top of the hood. i got one and it stinks it is no where near as stiff without that extra mounting tab and extra bend in the shield. Does anyone know where i can get the original version ? . I really didnt want to switch to the Yamaha one as my Cat mirrors will not fit it and I look of the Cat set up better, plus you get a little extra wind protection as the base is wider

bumpity bump..... anyone know where i can still buy this windshield ... seems strange that Cat doesn't have it as they sold allot of sleds this set up
