im getting code 11. i have wired in a temp gauge and air/fuel gauge to the sled, and when i went to start it, the battery only had 8.4 volts, so i put a tender on it, let it charge, and then went to start it...

I should have, I do have a couple pic of the side cover off, but didnt do it as a DIY photo gallery.
If i have to replace another one, ill be sure to take photos.
you do have to splice into the factory harness. I did my splice on the opposing side of the case, to make sure it didnt get saturated with oil. Pretty easy repair.
you can buy just the crank sensor from rmstator.com. Good prices, and exact same model as what comes stock in the apex. Replaced mine last year after my sled wouldnt start.
No problems since.
take a fine peice of emery clutch, and sand the sharpe edge away.. clean with soap and water, and should be good. Dont sand to hard in that one spot, just take as much as you need until the edge is gone.
Does anyone have a list that shows what came stock in the sleds?? I had my chain chase apart last week to replace the drive axle, and when i got it apart, i counted the teeth, and im running 23/38... Reading this thread makes me believe that it isnt stock.. ?? I ran against a 2010 apex...
