Bit of a delay but here we go..
When I first tryed starting the sled all I got was a click and it ended up being the starter solenoid just off the battery, so I replaced it.
A few days ago I put the old one back on and crossed it out then she would idle all day no problem.
I hauled the tops off...
**update** turn key ahead and instead of letting the key go when it's started, keep the key turned a little bit. Idle all day long. So as of now it's an ignition problem
Taking it out do help on hills but worse off in trails.
When I took mine out it screwed up all my suspension too, I was a few days before I finally got it adjusted to something I like.
My manual says anywhere between 10-12. But I do agree that it should be somewhere up towards 12 volts. Or even a touch more. The reading I got tho was from when I was cranking over so maybe when it started it would go back to 12volts with the alternator/magneto going.
So checked the plugs and they seemed like erratic firing. So I picked up new ones today along with some seafoam. I let it sit.
Tried starting again. And same results .
Spark on each plug, every plug is wet. And all cylinders firing. Just won't stay going without spraying gas into the front of...
Not the plugs but gas yes.
I might have to replace them now anyways. I sprayed some of the mercury power tune in the fuel rail to get rid of the gumming, if any. If this doesn't work. Yes I will change the spark plugs. But I'd say if the pump isn't weak then fuel isn't getting to the cylinders...
That code stops showing if I'm not spraying gas in the ports. No different with pump unplugged. But the pump actually pumps gas so, I'm thinking weak pump.
Well I hauled the air filter off and started it, when it started I began spraying gas into the intakes and it was a rough idle but it was an idle. So then when I done this I got code 43 which is pump or injected voltage. I'm getting 10-11 volts on diagnostic mode and I checked the pump voltage...
