I have a contour GPS with 2 batteries and a large (have to look) memory card with a few mounts (goggle mount is the only one I used) that I will sell for around $140. Plus shipping. I'm in MI. Text me at 9893702149.
The two sleds are biased differently with regard to weight front and back. Hard to compare them. I've ridden both, owned a Nytro since 2009, my guess is that if your a trail rider... Get the Viper, if you venture off trail more than not, pick up a Nytro (especially an XTX) at a great price and...
It looks good! But....anywhere you might get spray from the track, skis, or riders in front of you......eh, it doesn't hold up well. My front grab bar held up (Nytro) ok except ice chunks and such from riding behind. My rear grab bar shredded on the sides from snow kicked up from track. If...
Gaylord, MI here. Last year this time recorded over 65", we might have had 3" so far this year. Weather looks to trend towards upward temps through next week. But with all the snow we got last year early...it all left and we still weren't riding until Christmas break. Ehh....looks a lot the same...
I put a "knight rider" led light on the back of the tunnel. Light is from Custom Dynamics. I drilled a hole down through the tunnel protector from stock location on top of the tunnel and ran the wires through it back to the light position. Are you able to visualize that? If not, I can take some...
I've had the same issue. I replace belts every year, always OEM 8DN, and the only time they explode is lake runs in 1-2' of snow at 3/4 to WOT. Only place. Never shredded a belt anywhere else on my nytro in 4 years. I just quit doing wot lake runs.
Glad you're ok. And.....holy crap!!!!! That has got to be a first. It looks so clean where it separated. Friend of mine caught skis with and oncoming sled two weeks ago at about 60. Both riders ok, f1000 and CFR 800 both totaled. Again, glad you're alright.
He is getting new gears. I'll check the bearings tonight. We're putting it back together this weekend. Thanks for all the help. Not sure what shape the stuff was in prior, not my sled, and he bought it used and put very little miles on it. He was running that thick black gear lube.
I ripped studs thru with 1.450's. awesome hookup, but an expensive replacement when it happens. Wouldn't go that tall again. Never had issues with exhaust but I'm running the Barker.
