With the right suspension adjustments and a clean track .. the track hooked up real good!
So the clutchs were a bit too loaded on start (sled bogged off the line)
still, 8.28@160.9mph and 6.9X 1000ft (don't have 1000ft mph) on a 1.31 60ft (still need to work that 60ft)...
Is there pratice runs?
I would have liked to go there, but would need to slow down my sled to 9.0 consistently... did not know this was this weekend,.. my plan was to go dial it down this weekend to be ready for amsnow then... but look like I missed this... :o|
This is the small pipe just beside the oil pump (only on apex engine)
I think... I may have forgot to install this one on a new engine build.
I just wanna know what it is used for... to know if I really need to re open engine to install this.
look like a oil dump of some sort...
for my mountain turbo apex.
The way this solution has been developped is to be a 100% stock ecu compatible replacement with all benefits of a standalone with full datalogging etc...
That means I unplug the stock ecu, plug in the motec ecu and conversion harness specially made for the...

4.63 and that was just a practice pass... was not quite tuned yet.
we did not have any chance to test n tune it for that demo race.
 :die :jump:
These One Stop Performance outlaw sleds rock ;)!
On my turbo apex.
once past 10300 rpm, seems like it hit rev limiter/ sputter ....
Did this on dyno too.
On laptop computer connected to rb3, I can see rpm value jumping EVERYWHERE once it hits 10300-10400 rpm...
will show anywhere between 5000 to 11900 or so rpm on laptop while...
I dont know yet if this is a problem or not.
But connected this, set launch rpm, grounded the blue wire and started sled, did a quick rev launch test... worky.
Then I disconnected the blue wire from ground... the Led on the unit stays lit regardless I ground or not the blue wire...
Would they clear in the stock apex tunnel using a 0.525" ice racing track and ice picks?
Need to know as this is my only option to get any taller gearing using stock chaincase now.
Land and sea dyno SAE corrected (was 82defF and 83% humidity)

pump gaz.... and can sustain..... LONG WOT as hell.
intercooler heat buildup showed a slight dip in torque as very end.
funny thing, this is...
The stock ECU compensate the elevation by leaning appropriately.
AND the rb3 sees less ABSOLUTE pressure for a given boost so by design it will compensate this too obviously.
so we have TWO altitude compensation that don't know what each other is exactly doing...... then you can imagine...
Which one would you use for high boost application?
I had both and had not have failure but would like to know any advantage going do knife rod or not?
The coolant line under the engine, the 90deg rubber elbow decided to give up on me today, it has a 1/2 inch crack in it... coolant leak from there.... slowly emptied the coolant system on my garage floor.
If anybody here know a way without pulling the engine, its time to tell me.
Maybe...
Supercharged sled apex

At 20 # of boost:
With meth injection turned on or off will run perfectly and boost needle is stable
At 24# of boost:
With meth on it does misfire and send a lot of flames strait through the exhaust and make...
We all know the 1deg timing retard per # of boost rule of thumb
But if someone want to go very high boost, 35# of bosot for an example to be extreme.
and the timing retard kick in at lets say 15# of boost.
is there a logical limit as to how much timing to pull max??
because in...
