    LE vs. RR

The rr skid is considerably stronger, I know because I have one on my15 rtx le. Not saying the others are bad, I'm just saying the rr is better and stronger and not available on any Yamaha sled now.

    LE vs. RR

You cannot buy a new Yamaha with a rr skid anymore. The le has really nice shocks but if you want a rr skid you have to buy an arctic cat.

    Sidewinder = Viagra

Runnin scared, don't be afraid to buy rc2's, I have them and they are equally as good in stutter bumps and are much better for big mogels and big hits. They are awesome

    15 vs 16 rtx le

The 15 rtx le in orange didn't come with the 1.7 in track. Do you get any warranty with either one? On my 15 le since I spring ordered it came with a 5 year warranty. Also the shocks are different, 15 should be evols and the 16 should be coil overs. Both would be good sleds as long as he doesn't...

    RTX LE owners

TD, they wouldn't give joe any other track but a ripsaw 1. Dealer did it all for no charge. They couldn't even use the ripsaw track they had in stock, they had to order a new one in. Kinda stupid but.....it is what it is. As far as my track, I have just shy of 3000 miles and it looks like brand...

Tuner Ski set up on '15 RTX LE 129"

Tuners are decent for trails that are hard and set up, but in loose snow you'll be chasing your tail if you think you will get it to turn without any push. The best way to get it it turn in soft snow is to go with after market skis. Curves seem to be the ski of choice so that's what I went with...

    RTX LE owners

Hey TD, as you know my brother and I have the same sled as you. Me bothers snowx track came apart and decided to go with a ripsaw track. He did pick up around 9-10 mph over mine but the hook-up and breaking were greatly reduced. Don't know about the other tracks your talking about but for a...

    129" LE

I have a 15 le and like cannon said it's great to around 60 mph but for you to see mid eighties it's gotta be cold and hard. If it soft my le will only hit 72-75mph, no lie! The one thing that awesome about the sled is the shocks, but I did have hi/low compression and rebound put on my shock as...

Anybody seeing any Rtx le's yet

On a good note, that's the exact same suspension I have in my rtx le. I wonder if that would fit in a sidewinder?

Anybody seeing any Rtx le's yet

So Yamaha is doing it again!! When I spring ordered my 15 rtx-le it was to come with kashima coated rc2 front shocks with hi/low speed compression and rebound adjustability ,which it didn't come with, and the rear shocks were also supposed to have hi/low comp. and rebound but it didn't come...

    Changing gears on an rtx

Cannon, I hope you don't think I'm mad at you for advice you have given to me or any others?. I'm not mad at anything that's been posted on here, I'm just disappointed that this sled and the large amount of money I have invested( close to 18 grand) is as slow as it is. Yamaha dropped the ball on...

    Changing gears on an rtx

Rtx, my brother and I have changed gears on ours, mine is now what a standard rtx runs. No real mods done to either one but clutching( I have cotc ) and joe has ulmers. My brother did get his track changed to a ripsaw1 which did net him around an eight to ten mph gain. But for 16 grand this...

    Changing gears on an rtx

Your lucky that you can see 90-95, I've only ever seen 92 once, other than that 77 to 85. In Canada last week I saw a whopping 77 mph. My brother with the same sled but a ripsaw 1 track can now hit 88 mph ( he changed his track this year). My sled gets to 70 real quick but after that it falls...
