shocks I have the standard viper and my front shocks have 2 inches from the bottom top of ilet to the bottom of the first nut.Haven.t moved them from the time it was put together,hope this helps you out.

oil I have been using Amsoil Chaincase oil for years now so that is what I put in at the first service.

sled Have the standard model viper and I would buy another in a heartbeat,heated seat and mid windshield and good handling and good mileage what more do you want. :4STroke:

I fully clipped my track and with the dupont slides it rolls alot freer.Got the clips thru Parts Ulimited.44 clips to do the 129 track. :sled1:

skis Have the tuner skis on my viper too.Used the rubbers from a nytro and cut them down,works great.

Anyone move the second set of idler wheels back to the next set of holes in the rear suspension on the 129 track?Someone had said they had a little wear on the slides back there,might help.

kit Got my oil change kit today,more products than I had expected.

steering Had a 13 vector with power steering but now owning the viper I would say it steers about 10% harder than the vector.Have tuner skis on my viper with 4inch carbides on the inside and 2 inch on the ouside of the ski.Hands down the viper is a great sled over what we have had in the past.

happy Happy with yhe sled so far but like people are saying it is a bear to service.Going to drill a 1 inch hole where the oil drain is and that shouls solve the mess when draining the tank.Got a 1 inch plastic plug at Lowes today to fill in the hole.

chain Chacked my chain adjustment today on the standard model with 126 miles,3 turns loose.Set it at what the owners manual said,have always set ot finger tight then back it off 1/4 turn.

ski rubbers I got a pair of ski rubbers from 2013 nytro.Had to cut them down some with a stanley knife but they fit and work good.Took maybe 15 minutes to get them to fit .

carbides Running 2 inch on ouside and 4.5 sharper bars on my 129 with the tuner skis.handles great,very low sterring effort.
